Alan Baillie
Director
Alan was educated at Dundee High School and Dundee University, and worked with several other Dundee legal practices prior to establishing his own firm in 1990. He is a past Chairman of Broughty Ferry Round Table and of Broughty Ferry Tennis Club, is a lifelong Dundee United fan, and serves on the Board of Tayside Solicitors’ Property Centre.

Peter Shepherd
Director
Pete is all about personal service for his clients. For the past 30 years he has been a sole practitioner in Dundee with a large client base and welcomes the opportunity to continue and enhance the service to his clients old and new. Private client work is a particular interest and for many years Pete enjoyed the challenges and fulfilment of being a part-time Tutor in Private Client Work at Dundee University.

Alison Mitchell
Solicitor
Alison attended Dundee High School and then Edinburgh University where she gained a BA in Modern Languages before going on to study law. A practitioner in Dundee for more than 25 years, she joined Baillies in 2000 specialising in Conveyancing and Executries. Outwith the office she is a keen gym member and cinema-goer and enjoys foreign travel to maintain her interest in languages.

Kenneth Glass
Solicitor
Ken was educated at Morgan Academy and Dundee University and is a well-known and respected Court Practitioner with many years’ experience in Dundee and beyond, with particular expertise in Employment and Licensing Law. A keen golfer, and currently Vice Captain of Scotscraig Golf Club, Ken lives with his family in Newport.

Tania Royle
Solicitor
Tania joined Baillies as a Trainee Solicitor in the Summer of 2017. She attended Grove Academy in Broughty Ferry then attained a BA (Hons) in Financial Services from Napier University whilst employed with The Royal Bank of Scotland. After leaving the Bank in 2006 she became a Director of her family run Civil Engineering company for many years before taking up an offer of studying Law at Robert Gordon’s University and afterwards at Dundee University. She lives in Broughty Ferry with her husband and two daughters.
